List, May 10, 1748, of men who left Deerfield, Mass., that day in pursuit of raiding French and Indians. The search party, which went as far as Hoosac before turning back, was led by John Hawks and Matthew Clesson, and included Asahel Wright, Asa Childs, David Childs, Thomas Nims, John Cockren, John Sadler, etc.
